Fail better – Artschool

This week we had a guest-teacher. In order for us to get into working immediately we were asked to share an idea that we had tried but think we failed and then let another student take over.

I got a painting of a sad little girls face, with a faceless stuffed bear in hand.

I went to Stockholms Museum of Modern Art on friday and my teacher asked me to make a paraphrase of one of George Baselitz paintings on display there as a last sketch.


 I just realized it made a stunning contrast to one of my favorite paintings that I saw in original for the first time the next day:
